Victim Offender Dialogues

Victim Offender Dialogues is one of the most powerful programs hosted by the Tennessee Department of Correction. It allows the victim to request a dialogue with their offender who caused the crime. If an offender agrees, two facilitators are assigned who then work with the victim and offender to prepare both for the discussion. Depending on the case, preparation can take months. Verna and Valerie are both trained facilitators for the Tennessee Department of Correction’s program.
