Victim Impact Train the Trainer
The most economical way to bring Victim Impact programming into your facility or program is to identify staff or volunteers to facilitate it and have Verna and Valerie train them. At the completion of the training, all materials are yours to keep and use. Verna and Valerie will work with your staff to help them understand the critical components as well as provide encouragement to them as they take on this responsibility. Verna and Valerie will remain available following the training to provide support and answer questions.
Following the training I was able to take back to my facility new techniques and procedures that I needed and used to get to the root of a problem and offer meaningful solutions and resolved feelings to those affected. Also by attending this training I decided to further my education by pursing my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. I graduated in February 2012.
